Here’s how to easily determine the correct size:
Close the door and use a pencil to mark a small line half a centimeter above the bottom edge of the door. Then open the door to the desired position where you want to secure it. Now measure the distance from the mark to the floor. This is the minimum distance—or the “stroke”—that the door stopper must be able to cover. In this case, it is 8 cm.
